About Astri Studio
The Heart of What We Do
Astri Studio is a multimedia creative studio founded by two sisters from Melbourne, Australia. We believe in the power of storytelling with heart - using creativity to inspire, resonate, and empower. Our work spans digital illustration, 2D animation, indie games, and creative merchandise, all driven by a passion for meaningful storytelling and imaginative design.
Our vision is to pioneer innovation in storytelling while advocating for sustainable, healthy work-life conditions for artists. We are committed to crafting experiences that leave a lasting impact - whether through animated series, artbooks, games, or collaborative campaigns. At the core of Astri Studio is a desire to elevate creativity into something lasting and personal.
Astri Studio is proud to support the Australian independent animation & games industry, and are dedicated to collaborating with productions to bring their voices and ambitious projects to life.
We successfully led the Kickstarter campaign for Studio Psycho’s animated series HEATHENS, raising $70,000 AUD for its pilot and merchandise. We are also producers on Day Jobs, an animated series previously backed by ABC and Screen Australia’s Fresh Blood initiative.
As recipients of SPARK’s Create [SPACE] Artist Residency, we continue to expand our studio’s impact - developing original projects, supporting fellow creatives, and building a vibrant community around art and storytelling.
Our roots in creative entrepreneurship began with Asterisk Zines, an e-commerce venture that coordinated 150+ creatives worldwide to produce high-quality merchandise. Today, Astri Studio carries that spirit forward through our marketing and branding services, mural projects like our 2024 commission for Western Chances, and collaborative work that bridges creativity to community.
